Reclaimed Large Stone Blocks
Before concrete became the dominant construction material, heavy retaining walls and sidewalks were built for bridges and canals from a variety of stone: granite, bluestone, medina and limestone, among others. Masons hand-carved each block and fit it into place, creating a work of art that could stand for hundreds of years. However, many of these historic walls are demolished each year.
Fortunately, we’re able to reclaim these durable construction materials, allowing them to find new life as benches, walls, garden art and more. We salvage large stone blocks from bridges, retaining walls, abutments, surrounding sidewalks and other stone block projects. Contact us today to discuss our current inventory and find the inspiration for your next project.
