The nature of our business results in clients achieving their dream project. For this family in Maryland, we were able to provide generation 1 reclaimed granite curbing pieces for a unique driveway installation. We started off by working with the general contractor and landscape architect to detail the installation in CAD, which you can see below:

Completing the Puzzle: Driveway Installation
Once the details of the installation were on paper, the installers went to work on prepping the driveway and putting the “puzzle” of salvaged granite curb pieces together atop the stone subbase. The key to any driveway using reclaimed material pavers is an appropriate compacted stone subbase. In order to achieve the desired look for the client, crushed bank run was used instead of limestone between the used granite curb pieces in order to allow the sod to grow between the pavers. The design of the driveway is impressive and elegant, adding to the landscape aesthetics around the residential property.

One-of-a-kind salvaged stone driveway
All the hard work and preparation allowed for a smooth installation. Our experience in used paver materials combined with the detailed skill set of installers helped make this project a huge success. As seen in the finished photos, this unique driveway adds so much value to the property and we were so happy to be a part of making the dream become a reality. Antique granite stone is so beautiful!
